The first yoga classes I attended were as an awkward, self-conscious teenager. I immediately felt that I had found a home for my bendy body and comfort for my restless mind. In the beginning most of what I embraced was the physical, but slowly yoga’s ancient wisdom began to open my consciousness and my heart to the magic that is yoga. At times my practice has taken a back seat to life, however I always come home to yoga. For the past 15 years, a consistent practice allows me to access peace of mind and loving perspective when life gets crazy. Early in 2013 I committed to a 200 hour teacher training that was transformative. My hope was to deepen my practice and share some of yoga’s goodness, but I could not then have imagined the way teaching feeds my spirit. There is nothing like nurturing others on their yogic path. I can hardly wait to begin this journey of growing the yoga pod community with all of you!
