After the experiences of 2020, “the time is now” has never been more relevant with all it’s life lessons along the way. Is this your time to return to the practice you love? Or is it your time to teach? Or lean into learning more? Yoga Pod has programs offered on a “choose your path” format.
Teacher’s Lounge (coming soon)
Do you miss the community and connection of your first teacher training? The gathering, belonging, the sharing, heart opening, connecting, and learning? The Teachers Lounge is made just for you and is open to all who have taken a minimum of a 200 hr training although you don’t need to actively be teaching. These are weekly gatherings held on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm at Yoga Pod in Reno. One hour is dedicated for check-ins while sharing our collective wisdom and learning from each other. Another hour will be dedicated to taking class/teaching/ feedback. And finally, a third hour is reserved for yoga book club to study and dissect the teachings of the Yoga Sutra’s, The Bhagavad Gita, plus other relevant present day reads. Continuing Education Workshops (coming soon)
Are you looking for yoga workshops that qualify as continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance? Yoga Pod in Reno has one intensive weekend per month dedicated to filling that need. Each module contains 20 CEU’s. Weekend modules include: Adjusting & Assisting with props, Sequencing, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Yoga Nidra, Yin and Restore, Teaching w/ Themes, and Arm Balances. 300 Hour Teacher Training
Considering to further your training and see what else yoga has to offer beyond the foundations? You can start your 300 hr training anytime and have 1 year to finish the requirements of 8 intensive weekends, 32 Wednesday night teachers lounge gatherings, 30 hours of in person physical class practice, and 15 hours of self study. Price for full 8 month program is $2,700. If intensive weekends and teachers lounge are purchased separately, total cost is $3,080.
