Yoga Teacher

Hey Yo! My name is Sara and I teach yoga because it makes me feel physically and mentally better. I want to share that with others so that they are able to feel the same as I do during and after a class.  I like to tell corny jokes. So corny that you have to roll your eyes and chuckle. But in giving instruction, I try to be as clear as I can with what you ought to be doing physically so that you are getting the benefits of the pose. I also really like to give modifications because every body type is different.New students can expect me to introduce myself with a smile and ask if you have taken the class before and if you have any injuries you would like me to know about. Feel free to ask me any questions that you may have about the practice. 

When I’m not teaching yoga, I am running around with my toddler trying to make sure our dog is not being mounted like a horse.  When I can, I get in any type of workout in our home gym so that I can stay in shape to continue to chase our little girl around and play at the parks. Currently, (or will have just finished when this posts) training for my 2nd half marathon with my husband. This time at Disneyland!

While I have worked in the fitness industry for 9 years, next to being a Mom, this is THE BEST JOB ever! I absolutely love it. My home life is shared with a toddler and a dog. The husband is an adult sometimes.

I seriously like to get to know new folks I come across in my life. Tell me about you and what you’re into and adventures you’ve been on. Tell me corny jokes and what cool finds you got at Trader Joes. Tell me about the concerts you’ve been to and what you’re planning to see. If you have kids or pets, tell me about them and show me some pictures. I truly want to know and I want you to feel comfortable with me as your instructor and buddy.
