Dolores Corona-Tuttle
Yoga Teacher
Becoming a member at Yoga Pod in 2017 is when my practice really grew and evolved from a workout routine to a new type of comprehensive self-care. Hot vinyasa is my favorite but I love that any style of yoga provides a workout and a quiet mind. The process of learning to be fully attuned to my body, non-judgmental self-study and other sprinkles of yogic philosophy during Yoga Pod classes intrigued me enough to enroll in the 200 hour teacher training. I wanted to deepen my own practice and challenge myself to explore the possibility of teaching something I LOVE.
So now is an exciting time! I continue to explore the depths of yoga philosophy, and I get to teach at Yoga Pod! Yoga gives me the opportunity to be fully present in the moment again and again, on and off the mat. It reveals my foibles and strengths, reduces my negative self-criticism, and helps me stay grounded when life throws me a curveball and my balance falters.
In class, you can expect me to connect with you and encourage your mindfulness through the beautiful moving meditation so that you too may be fully enraptured with your yoga practice on and off the mat. Quite simply, yoga fills my heart, and teaching allows me to share that love in service to others.
