Tyler Cottrell

Yoga Teacher

I experience teaching as a conduit for creativity, it’s certainly an innate force behind why I’m an instructor. I see movement as an art form to explore our own inner depths. That and to be a small fraction of support in the healing process of another person. It’s a powerful commitment to helping each other create strong foundations for existing mindfully when life becomes varying degrees of difficult. Movement is essential because it strengthens the whole of us; the container of our thoughts, feelings and experiences. I know when my body is feeling strong and healthy, my mind is close by. When my body feels depleted and foreign, my mental health begins to decline. It’s understanding and respecting the mind-body connection that has made teaching so incredibly important. My classes are fluid, challenging and explorative. I offer lots of opportunities to move in dynamic ways, and get you fully immersed in the experience of your mind, body and breath.
